Department of Computer Science Engineering

Computer Science & Engineering Department was started in our institute considering the rapid computerization in every aspect of life in the year 2023 with the intake capacity of 30 students. It started with the vision that the course will ingrain in the students a professional approach through theoretical knowledge, project work and practical training facilitating to meet the demand of trained manpower in both software and hardware sector. After the completion of the program successfully the trained diploma graduate will be hired and placed in various companies and some of them may have go for their higher studies under lateral entry after which they get better opportunities in various MNC companies.

To produce high-quality engineering graduates through a comprehensive education that integrates both theoretical knowledge and practical experience. And aim to equip students with the skills and adaptability needed to meet the challenges of a rapidly evolving world, empowering them to survive, grow, and contribute meaningfully to society.

M1:To provide professional education that enable students to effectively apply the knowledge to solve real-world problem.

M2: To provide a platform that helps students cultivate life and moral values, interpersonal skills, leadership, event management, and entrepreneurial qualities through curricular, co-curricular, and extracurricular activities, enabling them to understand their personal and social responsibilities and uphold professional ethics.

Program Outcomes

P01: Basic and discipline-specific knowledge: Apply the knowledge of mathematics, basic science and in depth technical competence in computer science and engineering discipline to meet the solution of complex engineering problems.

P02: Problem Analysis: Identify, formulate, review various computer science research literature, and analyze complex engineering problems using basic principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences to reach substantiated conclusions

P03: Design/development of solutions: Designs of software  and hardware solutions for complex computer science and engineering problems and design system processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for the public health and safety, and the cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.

PO4: Engineering tools, experimentation, and testing: Apply modern engineering tools and appropriate techniques to conduct standard tests and measurements.

PO5: The Engineering and society : Apply reasoning obtained from the contextual knowledge of computer science to assess societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities relevant to the professional engineering practice.

P06: Environment and Sustainability: Understand the impact of the software solutions in societal and environmental contexts, and demonstrate the knowledge of, and need for sustainable development.

P06: Ethics: Apply ethical principles and commit to professional ethics and responsibilities and norms of the computer science and engineering practice.

P08: Project management as an individual and team work : Function effectively as an individual, and as a member or leader in diverse teams, and in multidisciplinary settings.

P09 :Communication: Communicate effectively on complex computer engineering activities with the engineering community and with society at large, such as being able to make effective presentations, write effective reports and design documentation.

P10 :Life-long learning: Recognize the need for, and have the preparation and ability to engage in independent and life-long learning in the broadest context of computer engineering and technological change.

The program educational objective aims at

PEO 1: To acquire fundamental knowledge in Computer Science & Engineering  to excel in applying practical knowledge with strong theoretical background which will help them to solve computer science and engineering problems.

PEO 2: To develop the skill required to work as a leader or team player in a workplace and executing the assigned project.

PEO 3: To gain interest to opt for higher studies as well as lifelong learning to establish own professional career.

PEO 4: To add ethics and values for the sake of social and professional responsibility.

PEO 5: To cultivate entrepreneurial activities with competent skill for establishing own enterprise and give employment to others..
