Govt. Polytechnic, Balangir
Welcome to the Administrative Wing of Government Polytechnic, Balangir.
Our administration is dedicated to ensuring a transparent, efficient, and student-centric environment that supports our core mission of “Sustainable Technocratic
Excellence.” function under the direct supervision of the Directorate of Technical Education & Training (DTET), Odisha, and the State Council for Technical
Education & Vocational Training (SCTEVT). We believe that strong governance is the backbone of quality education. Our administrative structure is designed to
facilitate smooth academic operations, maintain campus discipline, and ensure the rapid redressal of student and faculty grievances.
Key Administrative Pillars
1. Principal’s Office: The central authority responsible for overall institutional planning, policy implementation, and development.
2. Academic Affairs: Led by the Head of Departments (HODs), ensuring the curriculum is delivered effectively and laboratory standards are maintained.
3. Establishment & Accounts: Manages human resources, faculty service records, and transparent financial operations.
4. Student Welfare: Includes the Scholarship Section, Anti-Ragging Squad, and Hostel Administration to ensure a safe and supportive campus life.
Commitment to Compliance
We are fully compliant with the norms set by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the Government of Odisha. We maintain an open-door policy
for Right to Information (RTI) and have established dedicated committees to handle grievances, safety, and internal quality assurance.
