ABOUT

Electrical Engineering Department is one of the core department of the institution which started functioning in the year 2013(Establishment year) with intake capacity of 60 students. It offers diploma program and has been focusing on good quality teaching along with integrated laboratory experiments. It also aims to provide the students with a study, design and application of equipment, devices and systems which use electricity that helps them to serve our society and address a variety of needs.

With a solid grounding in the principles and practices of Electrical engineering, our diploma graduates are ready to engage in ethical approaches to engineering with concern for society and environments. The department has a team of qualified and experienced faculty.

    MISSION:

    1. To provide fundamental knowledge of core subject with practical skill and enabling them to acquire technical competency.

    2. To make the students industry ready by enhancing their technical and soft skills.

    Program Outcomes
    PO1. Basic knowledge:
    An ability to apply knowledge of basic mathematics, science and engineering to solve the broadly defined Mechanical engineering problems.

    PO2. Discipline knowledge:
    An ability to apply discipline - specific knowledge to solve broadly defined Mechanical Engineering problems.

    PO3. Experiments and practice:
    An ability to conduct standard tests and measurements, and to conduct, analyze and interpret experiments.

    PO4. Engineering Tools:
    An ability to apply the knowledge, techniques, skills, and modern tools of their discipline to narrowly- defined engineering technology activities.

    PO5. The engineer and society:
    Demonstrate knowledge to assess societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities relevant to engineering practice.

    PO6. Environment and sustainability:
    Understand the impact of the engineering solutions in societal and environmental contexts, and demonstrate the knowledge and need for sustainable development.

    Apply ethical principles and commit to professional ethics and responsibilities and norms of the engineering practice.

    Function effectively as an individual and as a member or leader in diverse/multidisciplinary teams.

    PEO-1 : To provide fundamental knowledge of basic science, mathematics and core engineering subject to make the student efficient as Electrical Engineers.

    PEO-2 : To apply their engineering knowledge skills and resource as a entrepreneur,in job market and higher study.

    PEO-3 : To develop the overall qualities like ethical, attitude, leadership,communication skill and team work.

    PEO-4 : To develop the attitude of lifelong learning to upgrade their knowledge in the field of electrical engineering.
